The Vortex freestanding base is the ultimate option set for simplicity of parasol installation. BUT NOTE you must have a level, solid and stable base on which to position the freestanding unit.
The unit weighs over 1200 kgs with the parasol so beware if installing on a balcony or roof garden. Make sure the floor will support the weight.
The bare deck plate and slabs gives the owner the ability to freestyle the cover. The visible slabs are not very attractive. In most circumstances customers build a timber cover which is used as seating, with scatter cushions or purpose made cushions. The alternative would be to design a table arrangement.
Option 2 we offer is a 316 stainless steel cover, which hides the slabs and deck plate unit
Option 3 is a set of cushioning for the top of the stainless steel cover, fabricated from marine grade fire resistant fabric.
