Powerful 3kW Herschel Manhattan is the go to low glare, versatile infrared heater useful for both outdoor and indoor areas. Remote control, IP54, wall or ceiling mount.
The infrared heater is suitable for larger patio areas at home and can be used for heating any outside covered areas. The Herschel Manhattan will heat difficult indoor commercial environments such as Church halls, garages, workshops, and warehouses.
Herschel’s shortwave, low glare infrared lamps and fast warm-up time makes the Herschel Manhattan 3000 ideal for instant, powerful heat. Mirror reflectors ensure that heat projects forwards, and the aluminium construction ensures a long lifetime.
The Manhattan 3000 can be wall or ceiling-mounted. The Herschel Manhattan operates at 50% (1.5kW) and 100% (3kW) power levels, and 24-hour timer settings when used with the supplied remote control. The remote can also be bypassed if hard wire control is preferred, via a push-button timer or thermostat. The heater only operates at full power when in ‘remote bypass mode’
The Manhattan’s IP54 protection rating makes it splashproof and suitable for covered areas or where there is no exposure to direct rainfall. The heater is supplied with a fitted UK plug and 2 meters of electric cable. Please contact us to discuss installation.

The Herschel Manhattan 3kW is an excellent choice if you are seeking a slim line, high powered heater, note that this heater uses far infrared technology and performs at its best in a location protected from the wind. Use a Tansun Sorrento if you require short wave infrared – ie in more windy conditions The average expected heated area for the Manhattan is 9 – 14 sqm in an outdoor environment ( ie under a canopy with 2 open sides) or 12 -22 sqm indoors.
